1) the song is about a girl who feels sad and depressed because of breaking up with her boyfriend.
ReplyDelete2) She says "We could have had it all" because she thinks that if they hadn't broken up, their lives could have been different.
3)- The phrase "We could have had it all" is doing reference to something that could have happened in the past, but for some reason it didn't happened.
*Example: If I had studied, I could have passed the exam.
-The phrase " We could have it all" is doing reference to something probable to happen in the present or the future.
*Example: If I studied hard, I could obtain better marks.
4)I think the message is not positive because we have to try to forget people who hurt us instead of thinking on them.

Pay attention:
1) the song is about a girl who feels sad and depressed because SHE BROKE UP with her boyfriend.
3)- The phrase "We could have had it all" is MAKING reference to something that could have happened in the past, but for some reason it didn't happeN.
-The phrase " We could have it all" REFERS to something THAT WILL probablY happen in the present or the future.
4)I think the message is not positive because we have to try to forget people who hurt us instead of thinking OF them./WE SHOULD TRY TO FORGET....

The difference between " We could have it all" and "We could have had it all" is that one is a provable and the other has no possibility. Example:
if we win we could have it all.
if we had won we could have had it all.

Take a look at some corrections. Pay close attention to 3 ...the explanation is not very clear.
1) ......BUT
2) She sayS that BECAUSE SHE THINKS....... For HER ( the ) love is everything.
.............and lost EVERYTHING.
3) The difference is everybody MAKES mistakes and maybe she can say: come on! you have a new posSibility.
For example i went to a disco but I said to my girlfriend: Hey I will go to sleep, so IT is a lie. But maybe in THE future she can say: All right,I forgive you. So I have a new posibility to do all fine. (WHAT´S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO EXPRESSIONS?)
