Ashton Kutcher´s speech

1-What do you think of his speech?
2- Do you think people are really listening to what he is saying?
3- What´s your opinion about this comment?: " When you speak your mind to a crowd you should take into account that  as long as a single person listens and understands, it's worth it."
4- How many things does he mention? Do you agree with his point of view?
5- What does he advise people to do?

  1. 1) I think is a good and powerful speach, thats tries to teach something to the people that are listening and not just thanking or saying meaningless things.

    2) During his speach, the people, specially teenagers (girls most of them) wouldn´t stop screaming, I don´t think they actually paid attention to anything he said. His partenrs and the other actors, seemed to be the only ones really listening to the speach,

    3) I think is true, because when you open yourself to people and tell them about your experiencies and above all, try to teach them something from it, there will always be some of them who would not be paying attention because they just don´t care. But as long as you can change on single person´s mind, you would have achive your aim.

    4) He mention three things about: opportunities, being sexy and how to live life. I agree with his point of view, specially when it comes to how to live your life, and to be aware that you can change things, you can create situations, and that nobody can tell you how to live your life, you just have to experience it on your own.

    5) He advice to take opportunities as hard work, being sexy as being smart thoughtful and generous, and to build your own life other than just live it the way other people tell you to live it.

  2. 1-What do you think of his speech? I believe he tried to copy Steve Jobs' speech in Stanford. It was a motivational speech that counted on three steps, just like the one SJ did.
2- Do you think people are really listening to what he is saying? In the beggining they weren't listening to him, cause they were really loud, but towards the middle of the speech they started listening.
3- What´s your opinion about this comment?: " When you speak your mind to a crowd you should take into account that as long as a single person listens and understands, it's worth it." I believe it's true, as long as one person gets it, it's efficient.
4- How many things does he mention? Do you agree with his point of view? There's three imporant items and I completely agree with his point of view.
5- What does he advise people to do? To be smart, to build your own life and that opportunities look a lot like hard work.

  3. 1- I think it is a speech to raise awareness to many of the teenagers today, for get what the really want and dream to have, the have to work hard and take advantage of opportunities.

2- The vast majority of the audience yes. The other part of the public only cheers his idol.

3- I think it's true. If it's a positive message and reaches many people, can always be advantageous.

4- He mentioned three things: Opportunity, "being sexy" and living life. I think what he talked about opportunity its true depending the cases, about being sexy depends on the definition that suits each person, particularly not think to be smart, thoughtful and generous covers that word, and living life i agree in big part to the definition that mentions.

5- He advised to " Do not live a life, build one. Find your opportunities and always be sexy "

  4. 1. I think it is an effective speech since it presents three catchy ideas that are explained clear and concisely. It treats issues that concerns or may concern most of the audience Ashton is speaking to.
    2. I don´t really think they are listening to him, most of the time the only thing you hear are teenage girls screaming to him.
    3. I think it is absolutely true. That who listened will speak about it later on, and if he is at least listened and gets to the mind of only one person he will have made his point too, and that person will talk about this idea again and so on.
    4. He mentios three tips: beeing beautiful, creating ower own paths and how to deal with opportunities. I share his point of view.
    5. His advice is to live the life you want, to be smarter than those who are supposed to be the smart ones, and to work hard.
