  1. I found interesting the lyrics of the song because through it the singer is asking for attention, he doesn't want to be alone; but I didn't like any of the two versions, maybe the second a little more.

    - Pretend is use to claim that something is true when it is not; when someone “pretend” it behave in a particular way because want someone to believe that something is true. Expect is to thing that something will happen, for example “we are expecting good weather at the holiday”.
-Lonely is when you are unhappy because you don’t have friends or you are alone, for example “She has a lonely childhood”, Lonely is use to show how you feel. Alone is use to show that tou are with anyone around, without anything else o that you do something without help.
-Grieve is use when you feel extremely sad because someone has died, and lament is when you show in public that you feel sad about something.
-Hide means to put something in a place so that no one can find or see ir, and conceal is to hide your fellings.
-cheerful means to behave in a happy friendly way, and gay is used like a noun to show happy and excited “She gave a gay laught”.

3)I like more the frist version, maybe because the voice and the style is more family for me.

    2) well, in my opinion, “pretend” is want to happen something in special for example i pretend that i can finish my college, and "expect" it is a synonymous of wait
“Lonely” is a person who always likes to stay without anyone, and “alone” can be a action in the moment, for example, now, I am alone.
Well, "grief" can be used when anyone lost a family member, and this person are doing the grief , and "lament" is can be used when a football team lost a match , the next match can win
"conceal" when i can't conceal my sad when i disapprove a exam, and "hide" is when i don´t want that my mother see that I broke her plant
"gay" is a person who in their life is happy , and "cheerful" is a person that all time it is smilingly and sympathetic
3 I prefer the first version because it is interpreted by the band "queen " , who is a excellent band and the singer is freddy mercury , who is one of the best artist of the music. I don´t know who are the people who sing in the second version.

A-I think that the differen between them is that you pretend to do something and you expetc something from other person.
B-if you are alone there is no people arround you but if you are lonely that is because of your caracter or because you have problems with other people.
C- well I have to google the words because I have never listened before. I think that the differrence its that grive is use when you are sad because a member of your family died for example and lament is when you are sad because you do somenthing wrong.
D- I think that there are sinonims.
E- cheerful is an emotional caracteristic and gay its a person who likes people of the same gender.

3- Well the second its good but I prefer the firt because I like queen. Specially I love the chorus of some of their songs like rapsodia bohemia.

2- Can you explain the difference between:
    a) pretend - expect: If you pretend something you are going to do it, but if you expect something means you have hope of getting it.
    b) lonely - alone: Being lonely is about nobody with you, but bein alone is without nothing.
    c) grieve - lament: A lament is suffering for a short time, but having a grieve is when you are sad and you can not get better, for a long time
    d) hide - conceal: Hide is when someone wants to keep something out of sight but conceal is when someone hides your feelings.
    e) cheerful- gay: The difference is that cheerful is when something shows enjoyment, and gay is the person who demostrate hapiness

3- Listen to this version now! Which one do you prefer? Why?
I prefer the first version because i am a very big fan of QUEEN since i am a little boy. Freddy had an excelent voice.

    2)
    a) Pretend is when a person simulates. Expect, is when a person hopes something.
    b) I can´t describe the difference, but I think a person is alone when he/she isn´t with other people and a person feels lonely when is without people. (Alone is a adjective and lonely is a substantive to describes a feeling in this case).
    c) A person grieve when is sad. A person laments when a bad thing happens.
    d) Hide, is when a person/feeling/thing is occulted. But conceal is when a person pretends to be other person (because he/she hide his/her real feelings).
    e) A person is cheerful when she/he is happy; but a person is gay when he/she likes people from his/her same gender.

    3) The two versions are excellent, Freddy was one of the best singers, but I prefer the second version because is more cheerful, the singers smile meanwhile sings.

    2. Differences
    a. Pretend is when you want something to happen. You pretend something because you want this to happen. Expect is when you wait for something. You've got the hope that it'll happen.
    b. Lonely is a feature of the person who always seems to be alone. Alone is when you are not in compañy. You can be with people, or you can be alone (without people).
    c. grieve is be sad. You grieve when you're sad, sorry, unhappy. Lament is when you're bad for something ugly or sad that just happened.
    d. hide is occult something. You can hide yourself, or something you want. Conceal is when you cover yourself. You dissimulate, and pretend to be an other person.
    e. Cheerful is the person who is totally happy. Gay, is the person who likes the same sex.

    3. I like both, but i prefer the version of Freddy Mercury, because in my opinion, he's the best singer ever. I never heard a voice like his. I like every song he wrote and sing.
