What is humor?
Humour or humor (see spelling differences) is the tendency of particular cognitive experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement. The term derives from the humoral medicine of the ancient Greeks, which taught that the balance of fluids in the human body, known as humors (Latin: humor, "body fluid"), control human health and emotion.

People of all ages and cultures respond to humour. The majority of people are able to experience humour, i.e., to be amused, to laugh or smile at something funny, and thus they are considered to have a sense of humour. The hypothetical person lacking a sense of humour would likely find the behaviour induced by humour to be inexplicable, strange, or even irrational. Though ultimately decided by personal taste, the extent to which an individual will find something humorous depends upon a host of variables, including geographical location, culture, maturity, level of education, intelligence and context. Yes, I think that all the people don´t react in the same way when they are told a joke because it depends on some variables like geographical location, culture, maturity, level of education, intelligence and context.

    1) Yes, I agree. Also, I would add that the laugh or laughter is linked with happiness. I think that there is just only one difference between a person who laughs and another whose not; this difference is that both are going to die, but one lives much better...the one that laughs. So, keep laughing!

    2) Some T.V. series, my family, myself too..

    3) Yes, "The Office", "American Dad"
